Color Your World

Check this baby out! It's a crayola tin that I altered with Christina Cole paper! I punched two holes on either side of the metal (broke an exacto knife in the process) and added Karen Foster looped brads to it and made a handle with ribbon! I'm loving it! Makes me want to pull out a Jumbo sized box of beautiful crayons, get a Strawberry Shortcake coloring book and put some color into my world! BTW.....I'm also totally stoked that Christina Cole herself, commented on my "baby it's you" layout! How awesome is that?????? It's a good thing girls! :)

Working Hard @ not Working!

It's Saturday and I'm at work. I work 2 Saturdays per month and it sucks, but then again I do take a day off during the week and I use that time to scrapbook! So it works out in the end I guess. I just have to keep chanting to myself, "i love my job, i love my job," and I seem to always get through it. I really haven't done much here while at work.......I did manage to look in the galleries of SJ, LM, DML and 2 peas........ pm people, answer polls and chit chat. That is hard work! HA! DT Comings and Goings I left my Dt position at FS2M and that allowed me to started up a new position at Leaving-Memories ! There a great group of gals and I'm so excited to work with Kathy's monthly kits. She got reallly good looking monthly kits full of some of the latest and gratest product lines! Ideas....Supplies......Layouts

Don't you just have one of those days that all you want to do is scrap? Well, that's a norm for me anyday of the week! Today, when I arrived at work, I had this title in my head "baby it's you", I'm not really sure where I got it from but it was marinating in my mind all afternoon. So finally when I got home, I decided to try and make use of that title, before I totally forgot it. This is what I came up with and I love, love, looooooooooooove the way it turned out. Yep, there's some more gorgeous Ki Soup letters that I picked up today from my lss! They are yummy white ones called "chowder." I was a bit peeved that the whole container just has one "B" so I had to use my "d" backwards! I still love 'em though! I'm also digging this Christina Cole paper too. I found it at a fabric store in Monterey. Unfortunaley, I only picked up one sheet of these 3 patterns! What? Was I smoking crack that I didn't get more or

Shoppin'......Dancin'....Scrappin!

Shoppin' and Dancin' I had the weekend off! It went by entirely too fast. My cousin had a surprise birthday party this Saturday and I was off to the mall to buy something cute to wear. I didn't find anything that fit me right...........ugh, I have to walk a way these pounds! I did find some really cute shoes by Chinese Laundry . I'm loving these! I wore it with some black capri/goucho looking pants and a halter top with brown colored bling baby! I did have to top it off with a light sweater because the boobies were a blazin'! Or as Amy Stultz would say, I had "blingin' boobies!" I also scored some cute clothes for my baby at the Baby Gap .....cute hoodies, a shirt that says "RockStar" and some cute canvas sneakers. David stayed home with Jaden, we had no babysitter! That totally sucked, but I still managed to dance the night away with my cousins! I had one drink called Nowaku...I guess it's an Italian after dinner liquor or something....

Scrapbooking....teetering on an obsession

Scrapbooking is a serious addiction for me. I fear there is no cure for it. Except maybe locking myself in a closet, but then I'd probably go crazy thinking of all the new product I'm missing out on. I visit ScrapJazz and other Scrap related sites everyday. I talk to fellow obsessed scrapper’s everyday. I want to buy product everyday. I want to scrapbook everyday. I want to dress my child to coordinate with a certain paper line..............yep it's that serious! But ya know what? I'm loving every moment of it! I love the natural high I get when finding new product and getting my hands on some Bazzil cardstock and Basic Grey paper.........if I could I would go without food or sleep just to scrapbook more. I don't know if I'll ever come to terms with my addiction. I do know that I will continue to scrap, chat with my scrappin' buddies and Scrapbook 'till I can't do it anymore! Long live KI, MM, DD, RP, SW, BG, HS, FW, AMM, DB, WA, MOD, UL, and all the

Happy Thursday!

Cantata Request Update I finally finished my two commissioned layouts for Cantana..........I loved the end result!!! My model for the layouts was the totally adorable son of Amy Stutlz (my fab fellow Blue!) named Charlie! This litter one is just too adorable! BIG THANK YOU to Amy for letting me use her pictures! I will post more information as to when it will be published! Beyond excited about that!! I'm certainly looking forward to getting my little ink stained happy hands on that paycheck for making up those babies!! YEAH! More publishing news...... I had a horrendous day at work on Tuesday and was so ready to leave at 5 p.m.........right before going home, I checked my email. Low and behold, I had four requests from Cards Magazine!!!!!!! Whooooooooooooo! That sure turned my day around!! So I'll have 4 cards in the January/February 2006 issue! Cards are fast taking over as a favorite craft to create. They are fast and fun! I think of them as mini scrapbook pages!! Over at Sc

FS2M.Chatterbox.Katrina Relief

Just a layout I wanted to share that I did last night on Jaden.........he was such a little chunckers here! He must have been about 10 or 11 months old in this picture. He's going on 2 already! Time has sure flown. I used some cool Chatterbox Paper that I got in my fabulous DT pack from FS2M......Janel packed it chalk full of awesome goodies to play with! Speaking of Chatterbox, you can purchase a scrapbooking package of their fabulous products from their site http://www.chatterboxinc.com/chatterbox2.asp and all of the proceeds are going to help the victims of Katrina! Awesome products with proceeds going 100% to help those in dire need! Kudos to Chattebox!! We love ya!

September Already??

September Already??? Can you guys believe it's September? Wow, the summer just seemed to pass me by! I guess it's different now, since being a grown up means you have to work and don't get to take many trips to the local pool or park to play! lol..... I was in Michael's yesterday picking up some ribbon and brads and they have full fledged Halloween decor and fall foilage out! I really love this season, it is by far one of my favorites! Kids are back in school, the leaves will begin to fall, the nights will be a bit colder...perfect for chilling with a hot cup of coco! It's time for me to pull out all of my fall decor for the house......the fall flag, wreath, "welcome fall" sign for my door. Before we know it it's going to be Halloween! FUN! I can't wait! :) Last of the Summer Girls We have had a few hot days here in Sunny California and these are just a few pics of my nieces having one of their last days playing with thier Slip and Slide! Katrina.....sadness....my thoughts

I'm just at a loss. I want to say how I feel about this horrendous destruction our fellow Americans are facing right at this moment. I wish I could go over there and take in at least one family and help someway in the slow relief effort. All I can do is look from afar and donate as much money as I can. I rallied a few co workers together and was able to donate $200 dollars to the relief efforts yesterday. I know it's not a lot but I hope that it will help in some way. While at work, I was brought to tears reading all of the incoming news and photographs of the disparity. How does this happen? I just can't fathom their current situation and I just don't know what I would do. My heart hurts for all of them on both sides of it. The people waiting for help and the people trying to get that help there. I'm sure it must seem like an impossible task. I thank GOD that I have my husband, child, family and all of our regular day amenities. We take those everyday t
