Scrapbooking....teetering on an obsession

Scrapbooking is a serious addiction for me. I fear there is no cure for it. Except maybe locking myself in a closet, but then I'd probably go crazy thinking of all the new product I'm missing out on.

I visit ScrapJazz and other Scrap related sites everyday. I talk to fellow obsessed scrapper’s everyday. I want to buy product everyday. I want to scrapbook everyday. I want to dress my child to coordinate with a certain paper line..............yep it's that serious!

But ya know what? I'm loving every moment of it! I love the natural high I get when finding new product and getting my hands on some Bazzil cardstock and Basic Grey paper.........if I could I would go without food or sleep just to scrapbook more.

I don't know if I'll ever come to terms with my addiction. I do know that I will continue to scrap, chat with my scrappin' buddies and Scrapbook 'till I can't do it anymore!

Long live KI, MM, DD, RP, SW, BG, HS, FW, AMM, DB, WA, MOD, UL, and all the other fab people making more cool stuff to sb with!

  3. Chris, I love your blog. I get a kick out of hearing your stories. You are so funny and thoughtful. Too bad you live so far away because I would be trying to hang with you all the time!!!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
