Pumpkin Patch

I love this place. Love these pictures. I love all things Halloween. Love this time of year :) Borchard Farms is a 15 drive from our house and it's the perfect place to pick out our Halloween Pumpkins for Jack-0-lantern carvings. It's become our little family tradition. We look forward to it every year. The Borchard Family has a wonderful selection of little pumpkins, jumbo pumpkins, cool gords and squashes. Tons of different shapes and even a "brain" pumpkin. They also had a haunted house, corn maze and animal petting area. Jaden just might have his birthday party here next year...........ooh, FUN! These are a couple of my fav pics from yesterday........Check jaden out in his new fall gear. His cute jacket and shirts are from Naartjie . Totally love that store, they have the most darling clothes and shoes for boys and girls. I got his hat from Old Navy, Jeans are Green Dog by Macy's and Shoes are from the GAP. Can this litte dude be any cuter???!!! I'

Lovin' Mini Books Right Now.....

It's not as complete as I would like it to be, since I really wasn't able to embellish as much as I would have liked too. I added photo corners so my sister in law can just slip in the photos of Austin. It's his 1st Birthday on Saturday. I remember announcing on my blog last year that I was a new aunt and now he's one! CRAZY! Time sure flies when your having fun. Have a fab weekend! :) CP

Lot's of Hambly love here. I used tons and tons of stuff. Lots of Heidi Swapp and Scenic Route lubbin' too. I love my Tin Box Creations Stamps...they rock! This was my lovely anniversary gift. Sorry for the blurry pic. It's got lots of baguette and princess cut diamonds it it. Sparkles real nice. Looks like 2 bands but it's one ring. :) I <3 it. Peace out y'all! CP

Pretty Things....

I made this as a gift for my cousin's birthday last Friday. We all ate dinner together to celebrate Patricia's birthday and it was girls only. No husbands, no boyfriends allowed. Just us chickas. My first mini book ever. No pictures, just quotes from Kobi Yamada's "She" book. It took me about 4 hours from start to finish. It was totally fun to make. Just pulling things left and right, tearing, layering, stamping, painting and being really messy. So totally fun to not have any restrictions and just play and have fun and create. Very cool. Very artsy. Very awesome. It seriously brought her to tears. She loved it. I didn't know if she would "get" it but she did. There are some peeps out there that don't get what we do with our art. They might think it's dumb or a waste of time. Not this girl, she got it and it did mean alot to me that she appreciated it. After Trish opened it, everyone wanted to see it. I looked at thier reactions as they read t

I have cell phone video of myself getting it done. email me if you want to see it. I won't post it here. Peace out my homies! cp
