Pulled a rookie move yesterday. Had to drive to the post office to send a layout out for pub and since I left work about 1 hour early, I figure.........hmmmmmmmm, I can go to Wally World to develop some pics before I get Jaden at the sitters. Perfect Plan. Put my pix in the 1 hour, did some shopping, looked at the Music Section........looking for the new Nelly Furtado Cd......duh, doesn't come out until June 20th. Loving her new single with Timbaland, Promicouous Girl is a HOTT track!........anyway, back to the topic at hand...........I pick up my pictures, look at the clock and say Holey Crap! I have 15 minutes until I have to pick up Jaden! I jam to my car, put my purchases in, which included a new booster car seat for J........and I shut the door. Took me a while to get in the groove of scrappin' today........I'm sure I'm battling a sinus infection. YUCK. The other layout I did will debut on June 1st with the new Blue Crew layouts.......don't forget to check them out! The little FAM went shoppin' and walkin' in Santa Cruz yesterday. It was so soooooooo nice! Lots of people, the cutest, funnest shops and street performers too. Jaden was tripping out on a guy covered from head to toe in floral print lycra playing a accordian. The dude was standing on plastic green cups attached to his shoes while he stood on top of a box, with a planter/vase on his head. I took a picture of him. I'll share it later. Also caught X-Men 3......overall good flick. It was parties and celebrating all weekend long for me! Party #1 Friday: A cousin had a college grad party Friday night and I was caught mid dance........look how hidious, me busting a move on the dancefloor. Party #2 Saturday: My Brother in law threw my sister a surprise 40th Bday party. Funny enough, Party #1 and Party #2 were at the same restaraunt! Her shin-dig was a themed black and white party, so everyone had black and white on........except him, he decided to sport green. Good one JR! Majority of the people wore black but it was still cool! Driving out of the Albertson's Grocery store parking lot, I see this stop sign that reads "Never Stop Trying". Quite interesting, I thought. I wonder who did this? What was the reasoning behind it? Where there more "altered signs" out there? I went driving around the shopping center and found more of them........Creating, Living, Giving, Laughing, Caring and loving. How cool was that?
