Cantata Request Update

I finally finished my two commissioned layouts for Cantana..........I loved the end result!!! My model for the layouts was the totally adorable son of Amy Stutlz (my fab fellow Blue!) named Charlie! This litter one is just too adorable! BIG THANK YOU to Amy for letting me use her pictures! I will post more information as to when it will be published! Beyond excited about that!! I'm certainly looking forward to getting my little ink stained happy hands on that paycheck for making up those babies!! YEAH!

More publishing news......

I had a horrendous day at work on Tuesday and was so ready to leave at 5 p.m.........right before going home, I checked my email. Low and behold, I had four requests from Cards Magazine!!!!!!! Whooooooooooooo! That sure turned my day around!! So I'll have 4 cards in the January/February 2006 issue!

Cards are fast taking over as a favorite craft to create. They are fast and fun! I think of them as mini scrapbook pages!! Over at ScrapJazz, a card I created called "FABU Party Girl!" is being featured as a Step-by-Step article. I used the cool "Shaken or Stirred" paper from Zsiage. http://www.scrapjazz.com/topics/Scrapbook_Basics/Step_By_Step_Layouts/652.php

Ki Soup Letters - I *heart* them!

I can't tell ya how much I love these things. Currently I only have them in black and turquoise and I really need more colors. The different fonts are so cool and I love the look they give your layouts! They are so delicious! Here's a layout I did on my niece Demi called "I heart you."

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
