Ideas....Supplies......Layouts

Don't you just have one of those days that all you want to do is scrap? Well, that's a norm for me anyday of the week! Today, when I arrived at work, I had this title in my head "baby it's you", I'm not really sure where I got it from but it was marinating in my mind all afternoon. So finally when I got home, I decided to try and make use of that title, before I totally forgot it.

This is what I came up with and I love, love, looooooooooooove the way it turned out.

Yep, there's some more gorgeous Ki Soup letters that I picked up today from my lss! They are yummy white ones called "chowder." I was a bit peeved that the whole container just has one "B" so I had to use my "d" backwards! I still love 'em though!

I'm also digging this Christina Cole paper too. I found it at a fabric store in Monterey. Unfortunaley, I only picked up one sheet of these 3 patterns! What? Was I smoking crack that I didn't get more or better yet, all of the line??? I went today to see if my fabric store had them and NOPE. Dang.......guess I 'll have to go back to Monterey!

I also saw the newest edition of Paper Trends.............OH MY GAHWD!!! I have a TWO PAGE SPREAD on my Altered Chipboard Set!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost peed my pants! The fine people of PT put them in a cool green leather box and they were pictured falling out of the box. Then on the second page they are all pictured. I'm totally stoked to see my alphas in print! I was tempted to buy it, but I didn't get it since I'll get a complimentary one soon in the mail!

That's it for now........It's been fun, but I gotta run!

Peace Out.....CP

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos...
