so we take the kids to the mall for their annual christmas picture on santa's lap. We've got a bit of a line to wait in and Jaden tells me "Mommy, I don't want to take a picture with santa." I ask WHY? Are you scared of Santa? He says "no, im not scared of him." So i ask him again, why don't you want to? Jaden says in his little voice, "well, he knows what i've been doing, because the song says he knows if you've been bad or good." Then I say, we'll you've got a few more days before Christmas so maybe if your really good, he'll see that your doing better. After waiting in line and watching Jaden eyeball Santa for a while, finally it's our turn to take our photos. He sits next to santa, looks him straight in the eye and says "Santa, i've been a bit naughty." I wanted to bust out in laughter at that point. Santa just looked at me and let out a little chuckle. finally posting my holiday decor. (missing my main tree, chandelier and swag..odd the pictures didn't load.....i'll update later tonight) these are my babies trees. got them last year after xmas for 1.59 each!! it was fun to decorate them. I forgot the hooks and just used mini clips to put the mini bulbs on. The 2008 glittered box is actually from my niece's graduation party. I made her that box for guests to put her graduation cards/money in and i saved it from being tossed to use just for this little tree. You guys should have seen the look on Jaden's face when he saw the transformers on it.... at first he loved it then realized they weren't new, but his own toys and said "but mommy, i want to play with them!!!" So last night, while I was wrapping gifts, i got caught up watching "The Bishop's WIfe" an old 1940's black and white holiday movie. baby it's cold outside. it even hailed today. i'm turning into an ice pop as we speak, er type, um read... i have no insulation in my garage aka were the magic happens, um not that magic, the scrap magic! We jacked the amazingly talented Virginia (aka Blackflipflops) who hails from the great state of Alabama! I can say first hand that she is super duper nice...cuz i got to meet and mingle with her in person a few times.....she's just good people, yaknow? So i was toats happy to find out that our lovely Michelle had picked her for the final jack of 2008. Ya gotta keep that inspo going, so take a break from your wrapping and fa la la'ing and show us what 'cha got. There are two amazing prize packages ready to get won ladies! life is busy. life is weird. life is fun. dontcha love my quote? funny how even "writing" with a mouse you can kinda still tell that's my handwriting. finally finished decking my halls with my christmas holly. stayed up until 2 a.m. and dressed up 6 trees varying sizes, of course. and two pine garlands. im not that crazy, but it sometimes may seem that way. ;) jaden has a neon green xmas tree with transformer action figures that i transformed into ornaments. aubrielle has a neon pink xmas tree with repurposed crib moblie flowers and the cupcake ornament Frankie ( Lisa Garay's dd) gave aubrielle last year. i added some new ornaments in the mix that i got at Beverly's last year on the cheap. new fancy bows i tied from bolts of red velvlet/gold lame french wired ribbon that i adore... and david thinks looks like a circus. but then as he said goodnight he say's "it looks beautiful honey" *swoon* i took pics with my sad camera that i love. it's sad du...

Hey! Hope everyone is doing good! yesterday was hubby's 33rd birthday. He feels old. Makes me feel older since im 19 months older than him! cradle robber! Heehehehe! Two pics today. check that window out. isnt' it cool!? It's from one of my fave stores here in town called "Cottage Belle" they always have cool window displays but this one is pure pastel goodness. It looks like frosting and snowflakes to me....delish! I find cool sb stuffs here and there in this store....oooh like my paper tinsel i got from her last year that says "joy", "twinkle" and "celebrate". the other is me and my baby girl.......she's not looking but i still dig it. Cold nights have arrived here in my part of Cali. Bring on the zebra scarfs and bebe bling hats! :) Got a couple of things for my kids and my niece and nephew.... gotta get to wrapping and bow tying...the fun stuff! :) Happy Holidays Y'all! You guys. it's December 9th!! Wholy you know what! Dang, ladies, I haven't even started shopping..... OMG. cuz ya know I was too busy getting my groove on (thankfully no pix of me dancing!) at my niece Regina's 25th birthday party....a lil swaray to celebrate the quarter century girl. Her sister Danielle was getting down and dirty on the one's and two's.....aka DJ'ing. It is hecka cool that she has all her equipment and she can mix it up when we have parties. She put on a killer mix of Kanye, Britney, Katy Perry, Old School funk and freestyle. Loved it. Had a blast. sweated off all my MAC. Aubrielle was even there for a while.. that is till we dropped her off with a sitter.... picked her up from my mom's at about 3 am. Jaden was at his cousin's house. lot's of bottles were consumed.... but not by me. Designated Driver. You betcha. Started work on a mini album from Aubrey's 1st birthday party. The theme was "Pink Poodle in Paris".......

wow. where has the year gone. amazing how it's going to be 2009. wow, again. it's december and i'm spring cleaning....or should i say, winter cleaning. moved some scrapbook storage bins from my desk to a shelf. Filled glass jars and containers with buttons, brads, stamps and inks. I picked up some cute hot pink mini buckets for my pens and tools from target and some hot pink wire baskets from the dollar tree for my mini books and unmounted stamps. Looks better than it did before. I really like the way the glass containers look filled with buttons. super cute.....when im totally done i'll take a picture of it. Scrapbooked a little christmasy layout on Monday......making me get more in the christmas spirit! I need to get my rear in gear and put up my tree, if i don't put it up soon it will be mid december! The hospital where i work is dressed up and decorated for christmas from floor to floor.....looks so pretty! So i definatley need my tree up at home! Jus...
