finally posting my holiday decor.
(missing my main tree, chandelier and swag..odd
the pictures didn't load.....i'll update later tonight)

these are my babies trees.
got them last year after xmas for 1.59 each!!
it was fun to decorate them. I forgot the hooks and
just used mini clips to put the mini bulbs on.
The 2008 glittered box is actually from my niece's
graduation party. I made her that box for guests to
put her graduation cards/money in and i saved it from
being tossed to use just for this little tree.

You guys should have seen the look on Jaden's face when
he saw the transformers on it.... at first he loved
it then realized they weren't new, but his own toys
and said "but mommy, i want to play with them!!!"

So last night, while I was wrapping gifts, i got
caught up watching "The Bishop's WIfe" an old 1940's
black and white holiday movie. I'm notorios for
fast forwarding movies but i let this one ride all
the way through. It had so many little moments where
i smiled and wished i lived during that more simple time.
Watch it if you can, and Cary Grant is an eternal hottie.
Then I watched "The Family Stone" and SJP's role as
Meridith is so anoying in that, i want to slap her
everytime she speaks!! HA! It's def not a traditional
christmas movie, but it's good.

it's totally blowing my mind that xmas is just 5 days away.
still need 4 more gifts to fetch plus i need to get all the
baked goods supplies that I will be making on Monday and
tuesday. Peppermint Bark, Rocky Road, Toffe and Nut Bark,
cupcakes, cookies, brownies, rice crispies, lemon bars...

...oh goodness,

i dread it but endup having fun at the end and there's
the eating part. lol

I've been getting excited to see the American Idol 8
commericals that are running on FOX! OH YEAHS! and
BTW, where the heck is Kelly Clarkson?

peace love and everythang.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
