I hate making envelopes. lol I like making cards 6 x 6 and I can't ever find envies that size so I have to make them or use huge pre made ones. _______________ Can you guys seriously believe that is almost December???? This year has flown by. Wow. I'm already in the Christmas spirit. I put in a Xmas CD and decorated my tree and added a lighted swag with ornaments on my Hutch in the living room and put my wreath on my door. Looking forward to our annual Christmas Light Parade down Main street tommorrow. It's going to be chilly out. Well, chilly for us is anything under 50 degrees. We are all bundled up in hats, scarves and heavy jackets, but still wearing flip flops. HA! That's Californians for ya! I'm outie. cp

How cool is this?????? Loving these new Scraplights that you can add photos, transparencies, vellum, paper.....basically anything thin! I layered Hambly Screen Prints Overlays with stickers and flowers. It was seriously the easiest thing to use. Your basically making a scrapbook layout and putting it in the lamp and illuminating it! I did add a few buttons to the outside of it, using glue dots to adhere it on the plastic. Those are easily removed so you can change it up anytime you want! Very cool. Very cool, indeed. Sharing a few pictures from our Thanksgiving shin-dig. I wanted to get all the kids together to take a nice pic of them (notice my son is the ONLY boy) and all but 2 posed (notice my son would NOT stay still) for me. This was the best take, since Jaden made faces, picked his nose and would cover his face. Niiiiiiiiiiice. Oh well. I tried. lol After dinner we put on the music and cut a major rug! We jammed to everything from old school Tina Marie, Midnight Star, Shalimar, The Barkays.......to Tupac and a bit of the Chronic with Dr. Dre.......got down with some house and trance................all the way to current stuff like Justin Timberlake, P. Diddy and Daddy Yankee, PCD, etc...... Dude, we had a blast! oh and the food was yum-mo! Hope your thanksgiving was just as killer as mine! :)

It's that time again.........I can't wait to share my Blue Crew Prjects that I have been working on for whole month! Since we still have a 2 week wait until these layouts go "live" for ScrapJazz/Sb.com on December first, I thought I'd give you guys a sneak peek!!!!!!! I got it yesterday from my LSS and what the hell was I thinking..............trying to use a regular hole punch for that job? HELLO!? That big ol' monster Cropodile made it a breeze to punch through the thick chipboard! I highly reccomend it now. Big...

These are a few pages from Jaden's Pirate Party Birthday Book that I've been working on. Tons of Hambly Lovin' and the super yummy Hambly rubons too! They are toats awesome! I'm still waiting on a photo order to come in so I can finish it off. The size is 6" x 12".......is that still considered a mini book? I haven't quite decided how I'm going to bind this baby together yet. I do know that hole punching is out of the question.............I used a mildly heavy chipboard as the cover and I almost broke my heavy duty hole puncher on it already. Me thinks that I'll have to use glue and cardstock to bind it. Hmmmmmm, I'll figure something out. :) cp

Sometimes we all have to just let it out. This not what I usually find in the back seat of my car. Usually he's pretty happy. Not this day. Not this moment. Right after I took this he says. "Don't take my picture Mamma." "I'm crying." Not every moment with this kiddo is all crimson and clovers. There are times when this picture is me. It's hard. This little person can cause so many emotions. Happiness. Excitement. Sadness. Anger. But we get through it. I have to take a moment and pause. He's only 3. He is still learning. Growing. and so am I.

I painted our room last Thursday...........I sent David to get the colors and well, they are a bit off of what I initially wanted but eh, it will do. Later on I plan to wash the walls with a lighter color to tone it down a bit. The flash is on in the pictures so it messes with the colors. New things: New chocolate brown comforter, shams, bed skirt Velvelt Brown Curtains Terra Cotta, Tealy Blue Curtains (I had the hardest time finding the right shade....i had to settle for these) Turquoise Vase and "thingies"...lol I have no idea what those sticks are called! lol Mosquito Netting....i had to tweak it to make it work for the room. Wall Border Lamps Throws and Decorative Pillows. Yeah, i like alot of pillows. heheheheh The Border was a royal pain in the arse to put up. I really don't do "instructions" and wing it.............so I think hmmmmmmm forget immursing this in water for 5 minutes, let's just use a water spray gun and put it up. Um, yea...

Jaden was a Power Ranger..........he's getting really hard to take pictures of lately. Alyssa (my niece) was a Purple Butterfly. Her wings were gorgeous! Annika (niece) was a cute little Snow White.....she is a much better model than Jaden. Way easier to work with! Austin was Chicken Little......so super cute!!! I did make-up for all the girls......my friends Genevive and Flor were glammed up Witches and Pirates and I did the Pirate thing too! Lot's of glitter. Just the way I like it. Hope you guys had fun! :) cp
