Scraplight!

How cool is this??????

Loving these new Scraplights that you can add photos, transparencies, vellum, paper.....basically anything thin! I layered Hambly Screen Prints Overlays with stickers and flowers.

It was seriously the easiest thing to use. Your basically making a scrapbook layout and putting it in the lamp and illuminating it! I did add a few buttons to the outside of it, using glue dots to adhere it on the plastic. Those are easily removed so you can change it up anytime you want!
Very cool.
Very cool, indeed.

  2. OMG!!!This is incredible! I Love it!! I am going to try this. Just a silly question though, may sound stupid. Just wondering what is the Buzz Lightyear figure? A sticker or it is printed on vellum or transparancy? Just can't seem to figure it out. And you did put it behind the hambly paper right? I just have bought some of this hambly and don't quit know how to use it.

  3. The Buzz lightyear sticker is actually a wallpaper decor thing. I got it at home depot to decorate my son's room. It was left over so I placed it on top of the green circle overlay then put the blue overlay on top of that!

    Hope that helps ya!!
and oh, the stars are also from that same buzz wallpaper kit from Home Depot!

    :)HTH!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos...
