I'm getting on a Jet plane headed to Las Vegas!!!!! I leave tomorrow after noon and I'll be in Sin City at about 3 pm! I can't wait to meet Monique in person and see what the next couple of days have in store for me! Yay! Wish me some luck cuz you know I'm hitting some of the slots! I still need to pack! OMG.........I'm going to write a list of what I need so I can check it off as I go.....I'm going to wear my Avatar outfit on sunday......is that tacky? Maybe I'll change it up just a bit! I've done a bit of shopping for CHA including comfy walking shoes, a sweater, some jeans.........and I got my new glasses! Remember when I broke them last week? They fit me with a trial pair of contacts and I seriously was living in contact hell for the past week or so. I wasn't used to wearing contacts for more than like 5 hours at a time so it was rough, but I somewhat got used to them. I hope to meet as many people as possible and take as much pictures as p...

Life sometimes creeps up on ya and slaps ya on the @$$! I've been super busy with everything....getting ready for CHA (omg yay!).....dealing with no babysiter at the moment.....work stuff.........house cleaning (blech). Ya know, busy as a bee! On the Scrappin' Front.........Sent 2 layouts out today for Scrapbook Trends 2006 Idea Book and one for Memory Makers Reality Scrapbooking..........got some free-bee stuff in the mail from a couple different companies......bought a couple of little things from the LSS.......got photos back from Wallyworld that I am itching to work with. Oh yeah....American Idol San Fransisco Tryouts!! Omg did you watch it? It's totally my guiltiest pleasure for sure! Well, it comes second next to Dr. Christian Troy of Nip/Tuck! ........ I especially love watching the Frisco auditions because the last 4 years I have seen someone I know! They never made it past the auditions though! HA! No luck this year.............although, I will make a predict...

I'm just amazed every year. All these poor souls that wait in line for days, sometimes in rain and in the heat.....for their chance to audition for Randy, Paula and Simon. The Good: Goth Celine Dion, Jailbait Zachary and the Luthor Vandross singing Twins. That's about it. The BAD.......oh the BAD: The 1st Guy, BlueMoon Girl, the sheriff that should have been shot, Expletive girl, Feather guy, Ukraine Girl, Eyeball/Barefoot/Jumpy/talks with animals guy, and the whole Patty LaBell people. Answer me this: How the h-e-double hock sticks did they let the Jump Guy though? I guess that was supposed to be a joke? OOOOOOOOOOOhhhhkay. I guess none of these people had any family or friends? Was there not a friend saying "uh, I love you but....." or "for the love of GOD" or "don't make a fool of yourself on national television"......apparently not. Heck, why am I complaining? I'm way, way, super, super pumped that the 5th season of American idol starts tonight! My tuesday and wednesday nights are totally booked for the rest of the season! I have loved the show since AI 1 and the awesome Kelly Clarkson........who's 2nd album ROCKS by the way! Looking forward to the awful tryouts and lauging my a$$ off!!! I love making my picks for the top 10 too! Last year I did a recap thread over at Down Memory Lane Co. but now since I'm blogging it will be here! Check out my thoughts on the show tomorrow!!!!! I love reading gossip about our celebrities......it just warms my heart to find out how much they spent on thier designer handbags and who got drunk and danced on a table while half nekkid. (sorry run on sentance!) So I can't believe that Miss Fergie, the token chick from The Black Eyed Peas (aka Stacey from Kids INC.) wet herself on stage in San Diego last August. This morning on the way to work I was putting my make-up while driving on Highway 101 (yes, I'm one of those women) and I'm not sure what I did, but I broke my glasses. I have been impersonating Steve Erkel all today, full tape on glasses all day long. What a nerd. There is no way to fix these babies. I have to get a new pair. I have no contacts either. Dropped my last pair down the drain on New Year's Eve. Dang. I can't get into my Eye Doctor until Tuesday of next week. I better get my glasses or contacts before I head over to CHA in Vegas! Speaking of CHA..........I'm so excited to be going to this event with Monique McLean and the Scrap Etc. girls! I don't know what to expect or who I'm going to end up meeting! I'm taking my camera for sho! Looking forward to seeing all the yummy new product.........ooooh make and takes!!! I'm only there for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.......I'm trying to swing Wednesday also....we'll see! Gotta go Birthday...

I've hit the 3000 mark on this blog! That's not much in comparison to other blogs with a gagillion hits, but I'm cool with that! It's also been fun to look back on my days and heck, it's even worked as a journaling tool for my layouts! So I'm diggin' it! Just wanted to say Hello to everyone who has visited since August! If you haven't said hello before........Do it! I would love to meet more of ya who visit on a regular basis! Speaking of layouts.......I created 3 last night after dinner. I received my DT Kit from Leaving-Memories and it was full of Chatterbox paper. I'm so happy with the layouts I created.....the whole creative process is awesome. Ya look at the paper, get some pictures and BAM! a layout appears......so cool. You can check out all of the L-M DT's creations here . Fabulous job Ladies! Hmmmmmmm what else..... I went to an all day crop at my local scrapbook store called STAMP BUG and created about 4.5 layouts during my 10 hours there! I must have spent 2 hours just organizing and trying to get in the groove....and alot of time munching on goodies, shopping and gabbing with the girls. Shout out to my friend Stacey for making me laugh the whole time. Luv ya girl! I used Scenic Route and Ki paper on Soar, a little Heidi Swapp Tape and Making Memories Paper on Wish and all Moments Defined paper on Heart...........I'll post the other two when I finish them up.
