Already Wednesday?

Seriously. Where does the time go?  We are already halfway through the month and it's almost June.  It's almost time for slip and slides, water guns and pulling out the pool!  Lots of summer fun to be had!  I cannot wait to take the kids to the Santa Cruz beach and boardwalk!

The school year has almost come to an end and the kids are so ready for summer!!  I'm hoping to pack as Much summer fun as I can this year.   I work basically every other weekend so I really need to make sure that I'm scheduling out everything so we can have fun all summer long.  What do you plan to do for your summer?

Over at ScrapJacked,  it's time to reveal who we have chosen to Jack this month.  We've been a fan of this girl for long time now and have chosen her in the past and we're at it again!  Stephanie Howell is our featured artist this month!

A few close ups

Lovely layers and lots of Maggie Holmes collection with Crate Paper along with Dear Lizzy's lucky Charm goodies.  How about that darling pinwheel embellie from Crate Paper's The Pier? Amaze.

I really love the mix of American crafts thickers and the Heidi Swapp chipboard misted with colorshine!

I know you have extra school pics laying around like this one.  I always seem to end up with a few of the wallet size left over, not quite sure what to do with them.   So I decided to utilize it in this layout and love, love the results!  It fits perfectly on a tag along with  a mixture of tags and paper cuttings to make banner which is adorable!  Thanks to Stephanie  Howell for the inspiration!   Our creative team made some outstandingly amazing layouts inspired by Stephanie's page.  If you have some time and you'd like some inspiration to jump off from, check out ScrapJacked and play along!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
