paper+glue=one happy girl

I wasn't kidding when I said I was going to scrapbook the other day. I made a page! it was fun! getting messy, inking, spraying and cutting stuff up. Like the good olde days when I lived and breathed scrapbooking. These days I use what I have in my stash o' goodies. Nothing new here, but im feeling that itch to buy new product. Watching all the pictures of CHA...aaah, the displays....the new scrapbook goodies.....the rush of all the stuff that you can get your hands on......I MISS THAT!

It's been quite a few years since I attended my last CHA event but I'd go again in a heartbeat!! Still love it! I'm sure the girls that had the opportunity to go had a BLAST! Good times, good times, indeed.

Over at Scrapjacked you'll find out the fab girl we Jacked for the month of love, February! It's none other than the fabulous Celine Navarro. I've had the fab opportunity to meet her in person and hear that fantastic French accent in action. She is fabulous and you will love the her layout that is ready for you to use as a jumping off point to get inspired and scrap about the person or thing you love. Go do it, it will be fun! You just might be the next person Scrapjacked will have for their Guest Designer!

I'd love to hear from ya. comments welcome. well, nice ones. HA!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
