Merry Christmas 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Layout I recently made with the fantastical Shabby Chic Crafts Christmas Icon Circles and Vintage Artisan Notes. Sorry for the bad iphone pic!

Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season!

It has been super crazy up in my house getting prepared for Christmas this year. Sick kids, then sick mamma, plus all the shopping, wrapping, baking and preparing was overwhelming! Next year needs to be scheduled. Srsly. I need to schedule my days out or else I'll be in loserville next year again.

I mentioned this on facebook the other day, but as a crafter I must say that I'm haning my head in shame that I did not make any christmas cards. Totally fully intended to, even bought the stuff. I ended up buying the cards and guess what.

NEVER SENT THEM OUT.

EPIC christmas crafting FAIL.

Alot of my crafting friends didn't either, so I'm in good company!

I did pull off a major bake-off last night though so I'm sotof (said like Rpatz) proud of myself for that. Made rice crispy treats, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, rocky road and pepermint bark. Phase one complete. On to phase two tonight. Cupcakes, brownies and sugar cookies.

Tamales are also going to be made tonight at my older Sisters house. Good music, good convo and messy hands = yummy talmale heaven.

3 more gifts to wrap.

Need to put out the kids outfits for David. Aubrielle will look like Punky Brewsters kid sister. I should really take pics of the ensombles he has put her in. OMG peeps.

Work Christmas Eve until 4 pm.

Then it's off to my sisters and sister in laws.

Wishing you all the best. Hope you've been good!! Santa is double checking his lists this year, naughty girls! lol

Love to you all!
Peace out yo!

xoxo

  1. You really baked all that in one night???? You crazy. Christmas cards are a crafter's worst nightmare: so much pressure! Just say no!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
