Getting Wiggy WIth It.

My volunteer at work comes in today with fantastic long hair and I says to her "your hair looks so good! Did you get extentions?" She sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed and proceeded to clip them off to show me. Awesome. Now I want some fake hair up in my dome. That brings me to this post. Totally Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse related.

I've ranted here in the past on how completely hideous I thought Kristen Stewart's hair was cut for her role as Joan Jett in the Runaways. She totally should have been wigged for that role instead of being Mullitized, which is all kinds of wrong. I knew it would be a bitch to take all that black out and then get her back to her Bella hair status. And now, because they didn't listen to me, they put Jacob's old wig on her:

I went from a forehead to a three head and where is my hair part? Hmmmmm??? (pic from E!online)

Edward is supposed to be in love with this? He has fantastic hairgasm hair and he supposed to marry the red ape from Planet of the Apes? Oh hells no. This is going to completely ruin Eclipse for me. But who am I kidding, I'll still be in line at 12 am for the first screening.

First they ruined Jasper in New Moon by giving him "Golden Girls just got my hair did for the month old lady hair", then put a Paris Hilton'esqe wig on Rosalie (she is a snot, so who cares about her) Carslie's wigged out this time around too and poor Esme was wigged from the start. Remember the baseball scene? Hellos? That cap made her HEAD HUGENORMOUS.......I just realized that the entire cast has a wig on 'cept the "humans" and the new wolf pack. Alice's wig doesn't really bother me and Jacob's has been hideous since the start, so I'm used to it already. If they are all wigged out, I guess they might as well look hideous together.

Do they not do screen tests? Do they just go to Mandy Lou's house of Hair and buy off the rack? This does not look like custom work. I would have made a call to Beyonce or Tyra's hair people. Those people got it going on and know how to make it look fierce.

ok hair wig rant over.......
78 days.
78 days until New Moon
not like I'm counting. HA!
yay!!

  2. I have no clue why they use SO many bad wigs! It's like looking at the high school drama club's handiwork instead of a movie that will easily gross over a quarter of a billion dollars within a few months of releasing [in only 70-something days - yaaaaay!!!]. grr!!! they could do better...

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
