Aubrey's second birthday is quickly approaching. Outta nowhere my baby is going to be two already. Wow. I.can't.believe.it. Both of my children's birthdays are in October and I plan to have two separate parties for them. Aubs is October 2nd and J's is October 28th. I would hate a combined birthday and one day I don't want my kids to complain saying they had to SHARE birthdays.

We are still moving forward with the BAHNEY party and I am basing it more on color and pattern. Mixed with a bit of craftyness from me, it will be barneyfied. I'll be making some cardboard cut out barneys and scanning a Barney DVD to make invites. It will all work out, it's all good in the neighborhood!
Star Wars Lego Pens!!! I got them for 50 cents each on clearance!! I purchased 20...... Awesome little goodies to put in the party gift bags! Whooooooooooooooot!
Jaden wants Star Wars, no problemo. Done. I was going to to a Lady Bug themed party for Aubrey and then she discovered Barney. My dear husband puts it ON Demand for her from our tv and she has fallen in love with it. I'm so not kidding, anytime the tv goes on she thinks we are putting it on for her and says "BAHNEY BAHNEY." She likes to sing the I love you song and dance around, it's cute. I thought, what the heck, let's do a Barney Themed Party for her, that should be easy enough, right?
It didn't dawn on me that the damn Dino is almost 20 years old and maybe I might encounter a problem to find Barney party supplies locally. I checked EVERYWHERE in my town and had family check in Modesto and Stockton. NADA. ZIP. ZILTCH. There has to be some on the Internets, right? I Googled it and after 45 pages of searching, I can only find cups and thank you cards. WTF? The only places that seem to have the crap is in New Zealand and Christina is not paying for that kinda shipping. Hell to the no.
So the Purple Bastard has been eluding me. I would totally kick his purple behind if I could find him right now.

PS TRUE BLOOD FANS......it just hit the internet that True Blood onscreen couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer who play Sookie and her VBF, Bill are engaged IRL. I wonder if Robsten will do the same one day??? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
