Yo Pops. Happy Dad's Day '09

Happy Father's Day to my hunny bun, David. I left my camera at my sister's house and well, ya know, I'm too friken lazy to drive across town for it so I will post some layouts to celebrate his first days into fatherhood.

On October 28th, 2003 we were blessed when our little boy came into this world. Jaden was so teeny tiny and his Daddy was so proud. This layout goes way back to 2004. Almost 5 years ago.... it actually was one of the first layouts I had published. It's kind of hard to read the journaling due to the rhatard scanning job I did.

It reads "The moment David laid eyes on his newborn son, he knew that his life had changed forever. He became a Father. The most important job he'll ever have. Nine months of waiting, nine months of wonder, were replaced by an unconditional and pure love."

Then in the wee early hours on the 2nd day of October 2007, his little princess Aubrielle was born. Total punch. Drunk. Love. He has been wrapped around that little girls finger since the first glance. Total Daddy's girl. Yay, this is when using PINK on a layout came into my life!! lol

Hope you are all celebrating the Father or Father figure in your life today!

BTW, I finally got a better phone. My old school pink razer has seen better days, plus it looked so hateful with the remnents of glue from the crystals that I had picked off of it. I had plans to buy my Daveward a gift at Bust Buy and I mosied on ovah to the phone section and I picked up an iPhone for me. And um, stayed up late online. Oh shizz, another vice I don't need............ and an even quicker way to get my Twilight fix. You know I totally bookmarked all my fave Twi sites.

I just haven't hit Twitter yet. Soon, I'll be Tweeting with the best of 'em! HA!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos...
