Still reading......

I read more than half of Breaking Dawn this weekend. Intense.....but I knew what was coming because like a royal idoit I looked up the synopsis in wikipedia. What a dumb ass. Did I not realize that it would give the entire story away? I started reading it and could not stop and then totally cussed myself out for being so dumb. Dammit.

Twists and turns, crazy love story. I have no idea how this will translate into a movie. I'm scared for them! It has to be done right or it will just be plain stupid. I can say I like Jacob more in the 4th book? This one has made me laugh more than the other three.

Ok Twilight Saga rant over.

Had a great weekend. Made a little purchase that afterwards made me have immedate buyers remorse.

Let me introduce you to my new friends:

I told David that could be my early Mother's day gift. He did remind me that I just purchased a new Coach bag last month. I said "AND?"

How is the weather in your parts? It has been so beautiful here in Northern Californa the past few days......Africa Hot though. Yesterday it was atleast 96 degrees and today is supposed to surpass that number. Wow. Somewhere polar ice caps are melting, El Nino is happening....crazy weather. It is normally not this yot in April. We are not supposed to have this type of heat until like, um, September. Crazy!

  1. I am a Jacob fan all the way- I actually hate Edward (never seen the movie yet). The 4th book kind of ticked me off too, I thought it was way too over-the-top and the characters all seemed more like Super heroes than Vampires. Just my 2 cents!

  2. Just finish the book, then life can go back to normal!

David was pretty nice about the "splurge".... It will look good on you though!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
