yum. (w/ETA)

Red Velvet Cupcakes at Starbucks are the bomb. The most delicious cup cake ever. Got this one at Del Monte Center in Monterey, for you local readers.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. yumness fo sho!

picked up a new Coach bag while shopping at the Carmel Village and finally went to Anthro. What a yummy store and it smelled soooooooooooooo good in there. Almost bought a pillow, but decided to put it back after the Coach purchase. Next time!!

and just have to share my new cosmetic find that I now, cannot live without. Exceptionnel de Chanel mascara. Oh my Lord girls, this has to be the best mascara I have ever, ever used period. It makes your lashes look 100% longer, thicker and lush. It's a bit pricy but hey, you won't regret it!

I haven't created anything for days. I have had a bit of time to paint some shelves for Aubrielle/Jaden's room. I'm going to hook up some framed scrapbooksky art for their room and I've had an idea lingering in my head about a ribbon/light fixture/hanging thing. And yes, they share, unforch. It's super hard to decorate for a girly girl and boy who loves star wars room. I figured Red was the color to go with for the most part. We'll see how it eventually works out.

From a recent Ross/Marshall's trip I picked up this super cute kinda Americana'ish Ice Cream signage. It's metal in the shape of a soft serve ice cream cone and says Twisty Taste or something to that effect. I think it will look cute in there.

Working this weekend.
blah.

ETA: The time change had me all screwed up, fear of being late to work led me to wake up extra early. I decided to wash a few cups that were in the sink. While I washed a tall glass it busted while my hand was in it and i cut myself pretty bad. After I screamed for david to help me I bled all over the place. I cut it so deep I could see under the skin tissue....so gross. Got to work and had them stitch me up. 5 stitiches on my inch long laceration. The needle to numb me up was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo horrible. Hurt so bad. Still at work but going home soon. :(

  1. I was kicking myself for not getting your phone number - we were in your hood on Thursday!!! Were in San Francisco for an escape the kids vacay and took a drive for the day to Carmel heading back to San Jose for the hockey game. I saw the turn off for Salinas and thought damn, that's where CP is!

  3. That sucks about your finger. That just goes to show you how dangerous housework can be. I take it you work at a hospital?

My Starbucks has never had those cupcakes. I would buy one for sure.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
