Scrapbooksy Frames

I am obsessed with HGTV. I love love David Bromstead's Color Splash. He's my fave. The dude rocks his craft. Myles of Style, HGTV showdown, The Big Reveal.......Design on a Dime is watched like everyday, no lie. I get so totally inspired that I want to run to Home Depot and buy crazy wall color, go to IKEA and Pottery Barn and buy cool stuff to redecorate, stat. I wish I could re-do every room, but alas, that is not the way it goes. Unless the HGTV team came to my house, then of course it would happen! That would be friggen awesome!!!!!!!

So I got out the Chipboard and made scrapbooksy frames for my kids room. Love all the mix of colors here. I've was home with my bum hand for a few days and I've been wanting to do something in there for days. The Abc frame is for Jaden's side of the room and the A frame along with the bird/button motif is for Aubrielle's side.

I also worked on the ribbon hanging chandelier type thing I had envisioned in my head last week. It looks good, tons of color but I still need to get a light to hang in there. I acutally just took apart a lamp shade and tied ribbon on to it. I'll take pics of it and post soon. Looks super cute and fun!

Hand is doing better, stitches are still in. Taking them out on Sunday. Ouch.

Peace Out my Peeps!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
