He's cool like that.

he's slick like that.
he's fly like that.
he's chill.

Remember that song by Digable Planets?
The Return of Slick?
Anyone?

Went to Target after work, got my Twilight DVD and after some Chinese food, I went home to watch it. First off, I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the book but I only half liked the movie version. It really did not live up to my high expectation. It touched on it, I liked the casting (especially Peter Facinielli as Carslise), hated the wigs and the eternally constipated look on Jasper's face pained me. I have to say that I like Rob Pattinson as Edward Cullen better than I like Rob Pattinson as Rob Pattinson. Comb your hair Rob!

Hopefully New Moon will be better, bigger budget is needed. Even though I'm complaining I still liked watching it and I've stll have New Moon to read.

I'll probably watch it again.

and dang, i need to scrapbook.
i want to get dirty with paint.
use some of my newish to me stuff.
got to get my a-double-s in gear.
Got some fun email news, I won a prize from Toni Rivera's blog, Magistical Memories New Release! Thanks Toni!

I might get to see rainbowpants on Monday, she's in town.
Maybe might have a pic of us to post soon.

  2. I was disappointed in the movie too. The second time watching was better though. LOTS of stuff left out. For me the series doesn't get really good until the last book.

    Btw, J is supah cute!!!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Hello!

Hi Friends! Can I start by saying that it's been a while since my last blog post? After a long vacation away, this little blog is going to have a comeback. Yay! A new look? Yes. A new topic. Yes and no. Still crafty? Yes. Long gone are my days eating and breathing everything scrapbook related and talking about silly sparkly vampires but my love of creating is still there. That never and will never ever go away. I still love the idea of scrapbooking and creating art. Putting ideas and memories on paper with pictures. Creating keepsakes and using paint, embellishments and stickers to make masterpieces. It will always be a part of me that love. I met alot of really great people throughout those scrapbooking years and still communicate with them daily. But Honestly, truly, I just don't put the time in to it that is required to do it and to do it well. My poor 4 year old might never have the scrapbook his big brother did or a published scrapbook page about him in a mag...
