happy colors

This is Aubrielle's side of the room, my next post will have Jaden's side of the room. Love, love the happy colors going on here. Adore the little Hambly tree with felt and paper leaves. Although I should have cut out the red mod flower out better. I bought 4 of those frames two in turquoise and two in yellow on the cheap. $1 buck a piece. Planning on doing something for Mr. Jay for those....maybe something with robots! Loving the Vera Wang pillows. I want them for my room!

The ribbon chandelier (that's what im calling it!) was super fun to make! I ripped out the fabric covering the shade, leaving the metal frame, then I just started tying ribbon from top to bottom. Then I added the chain and hung it from a cup hook. Easy peasy. I still haven't found the perfect bedding for her but I think I'm going to just leave her crib like this for now. I'm still in search of a cool rug, curtains and storage containers.

Ate tons of lumpia at a friends party.
Made some earings for her.
She likey.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
