Aubrielle is getting so big. This is normally what's going on in the back seat of our car. She is either bopping her head to the music I'm playing, yammering and talking up a storm, well babble talking up a storm.

She says:
Appy Bitday, her verson of happy birthday.
goo Mornin, good morning
Tickie, her version of Tickle.
appy, happy.
petty, pretty
mas, spanish for more.
papas, spanish for french fries.
siwie.....silly.
pampas, her diapers.
Jada, big bro Jaden.
choos for shooes.
baby, everything is baby to her children of any age and all animals.
baba, mama, dada, daddy, nose, bye, hi, no, me, pee-pee, ta-ta (poop) .........and more I can't think of at the moment.

And, boy, does she understand stuff. You tell her where things are and she tries to look for them. Where's your book? she looks around for her books. Pick up your shoes and she picks them up. The other day, I couldn't find my keys and I'm looking all over the house saying "Where are my keys?" out loud while searching and guess who went and got them? Aubrielle. They were on the floor by the couch.

The other day my mom was talking and said something with the word "Knows" and right away, Aubrielle pointed to her nose and kept on saying nose, nose. She is a sponge, that kid! Love to see her little mind grasping words and concepts. It's so awesome!

and here they are together, Aubs is 17 months and Jaden is 5 1/2.

Missed American Idol last night since I got a chance to hang out with rainbowpants, aka Lisa Garay and her 2 cute kids. We had some din at Chilli's and then went to the new Forever 21 that opened up at my local mall. Acutally, it's the largest store they have opened in Northern California. We took a couple of pictures and I got some cute earrings and bracelets.

I saw Twilight again with David this time. He was asking 20 million questions about it and said they were second rate vampires. His arguments were glittering instead of death in sunlight, the no sleep issue and no fangs. I told him to shut it. lol He did ennjoy the running, climbing trees, baseball and fighting scene, like the man that he is. Then at the end he said it was ok and then he added, we'll now I have to see the next one.

Got the paint out for one page last night, but didn't title or jounal it yet. It felt good to get something done, or at least half done.

  2. Look at how big she is!! What a little DOLL!

We got Twilight last night, missed the last 15 min or so, but had not seen it at the theater. It had a little hokey factor, but my expectations were not high.

    Your kiddos are so cute!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
