The bastards that stole my checkbook are writing checks and using my id for God knows what and I'm seriously pissed.
I closed my accounts the day it happened back on January 30th, but I guess they are going to Mom and Pop type of stores using the checks.
Do you know why I know this?
2 ladies knocked at my door looking for me and the money i supposidly owe them. I wasn't home both times and david had mentioned some ladies looking for me one day while i was at work but they didn't mention anything to him I never thought that the checkbook is what it might be about. Then tonight, the same ladies came back looking for me again!!!!
So I get a call at work, it's my mom, who is watching my kids telling me this lady said I bought $150, then $50 dollars worth of stuff from her store and the check bounced on Valentine's day.
WTF!?? My (pardon me for saying)dummy mom tells them i get out of work at 8pm and so the damn woman is coming back at 8:30. I'v e made a copy of the police report and statment for the checking account that was closed to give her. She even told my mom she was going to get a lawyer or something studpid like that.
Do i really have to deal with her? Do I have to give her this info? Shoudn't she deal with the bank, not me personally. I mean the wouldn't have come back NSF, but "account closed." I have no idea, I've never delt with this.
Dude. I so do not want to deal with this lady. I can understand she is upset because she is out of money, but to come and look for me at my home, is just making me feel harassed at this point. What pschyo lady comes to your house? If she gets crazy, I'm calling 911 on her.

Damn f*&^@#s that stold my stuff and ARE USING IT! The day the A-holes took my purse they decided to get a snack at Carl's Junior 3 cities South of here with my atm/visa card.
I just hope there isn't more out there.

ReplyDeleteMy sister once left her atm card at a JacK in the Box, they took that ATM card and charged gas and movies. My sister pressed charges.
Ugh. Tha sucks big time! Hope it gets resolved for you. OH and yeah, watch it that lady is psycho...going to your home?? ugh be carful!

ReplyDeleteLast year my atm/cc was stolen online and used for some japanese gaming website to the tune of a bout $1000 bucks. My BANK didn't believe me. I closed out my account I was so furious that they wouldn't continue to monitor it. About a month later they called me and asked if I was aware I was overdrawn because I had used me Atm card for an online transaction. I was FURIOUS. and reminded them that THIS was the exact reason I was no longer banking there....
Good Luck... I don't think you have to do anything other than point her to the popo!

ReplyDeleteCP this is awful!!! I would think she would deal with the bank, i mean she is a little gangsta to come to your house!! I hope this gets resolved for you quickly and I would think she would know what the people look like and see that it wasn't you who wrote the check.
