Chocolate Milk Spillage....

all over my brand spankin' new layouts.

It's been raining here in my part of California, therefore,
very cold inside my garage where I scrapbook so I decided to
pull some stuff in and work on the kitchen table. That worked
out great, since I could watch both kids and let Aubrielle play
on the kitchen floor with her Dora car and babies.

Sounds like a good plan, until my son decided to serve himself
milk and add nesle quick chocolate powder. While i was changing
Aubs diaper. Needless to say, he was not very good with the
whole stirring, while keeping the cup steady.

So now I have chocolate flavored chiboard letters and layouts! Yay!
um, so not yay.

I've gotta re-do them and salvage what I can....and remind that boy
that he needs to ask me for help when he wants something to drink!

What is happening on AI? Ya know, i've been sucked into watching thatdanged novela and keep missing it. I would watch it online, but i havea horrible slow connection that is not even worth loading. Who shouldi look out for? Gotta fave? This is seriously the first time in 8 seasons that I haven't watched it. Arn't they in Hollywood already? I miss the old Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini days. and yeah, I did see From Justin To Kelly too! Pure fluff and random breaks in to song
and dance. Love.

Love these vintage valentine cards. This one is available from here. I remember riding my bike when I was a kid to Bonanza 88 to buy my Valentine's Day cards. I always picked out the classic V'day cards, never got Care Bears or Jem type of cards.....I guess I've always liked the classic vintage style. But yeah, I would ride my bike all by myself, my mom would never worry. Those were the good old days. Long gone, becasue I would never ever let my son ride his bike anywhere other than up and down our block. I took Jaden to picked out his Valentine's day cards at Target the other day. He picked out Hot Wheels foiled cards and conversation hearts. I also picked up cake mix and pink frosting to make cupcakes and a bit of decor to be lovey and festive for the day of love. Probably not going to do much on happy love day, since I think my David will be working that evening. Bummer.

Speaking of Valentines day, a friend who works at the Chanel counter is having a early Valentine's Day Party on Saturday. Sounds fun so maybe we might be able to attend that!

Next post should accompany the chocolate milk layouts.

  3. Could have totally happened here too... it's always in that split second that your back is turned...

I have a friend who's Mom sent her all of her childhood pictures, and she had them out on the dining room table.... her dd colored on all of them with Sharpie markers. Yep. That sucks.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
