Hairdo and Burnt Cupcakes

i was flipping through the channels and see Ken Paves, Jessica Simpson's hairguy putting clip on hair extentions called Hairdo on models........i was instantly sucked in. OMG people. I almost bought hair on from TV. Now of course it would be in their dark brown color, but i'm afraid it would look really hookerish on me? Maybe not. I just miss my long hair hair so much. The easy pay wasn't bad either, but $400 right now, is prob a bad purchase. I'd have serious buyers remorse afterwords.

I've been buying a few things here and there to re do my room and came across this pillow at Target that I had to have. And these drapes. I got the pillow and i'll get the drapes later.

Stopped at Pier One and got a cool zebra striped pillow and a liime green pillow with a cool black velvet floral design. I've been putting everything in a box and hope it will all flow together. lol

we'll see.
oh and i made cupcakes and they got a lil toasty.
but still yummy.

speaking of cupcakes here's a layout of my little miss for her 1st bday.

  1. First!! (Am I?) Lol.

Really digging those drapes. Ugh. I have a man who refuses anything too "girlie" so those are like the forbidden fruit for me.

  2. I was going to buy those drapes!! I love, love, love them, but they were too short for my windows. :( I decided to just make my own with a damask valance.

About HairDo, I've seen people with them on and they look sooo real. You wouldn't look like a hooker. You just clip them in and style it as if it were your own hair. I haven't tried them myself, but they look really good on people. Ken Paves actually just joined forces with ElevenSpa in Palm Beach and Vegas, so he will have a hair salon at each. It's my FAVORITE spa, and I cannot wait for the Vegas one to open this month. It will be a great excuse to go to Vegas.

Take a look at their website at www.elevenlv.com and www.elevenspa.com.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
