"Scooby Scooby Doo....

Where are you? We need to get some business done on a rocket ship."

These interesting lyrics are sung by my 3 and a half year old son, while holding his American Idol Microphone. He got it as a toy from a happy meal and is loving it.

His song a mixture of Scooby Doo and Little Einstiens.
Gotta love that.

The Mom's is on the mend, thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and payers. I've kinda been out of it. NO mojo or desire to scrapbook at all. Dude, major suckage. I feel the need to scrapbook....even visited the LSS to buy some Queen and Co. Felt but after making my purchase....it did nada. No spark. No motivation.

What's up with that? Burn Out?

One of the things I want to do is buy cute baby things that I see. But I'm drawn only to pretty pastel pink fluffy soft things. Until I find out what this bambino is on May 23rd, I have to wait.

The other thing I'm drawn to do is plant flowers and fix my little back yard up. So I've been shopping for decor and looking at flowers...but haven't really purchased anything yet.

My sister gave me her older patio set (she upgraded) and we have a barbeque set read to go.....and we are going to get a playset/swing/slide for Jaden. SO things are in motion to fix it up. It's just a small area to work with........need some inspo on patio/backyard decorating.

Anyone know of some good sites?

cp :)

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
