Layouts for Friends......

I had a blast making these layouts for two members of ScrapJazz...........so fun to work with their pics. I had to inject a bit of hambly love on these babies. A whole lotta Hamblyness in the form of a Pirate Book just got picked up by ST for their Minibooks II Idea book. Gotta send that baby of today.......I'm so very proud of it. So look out for it soon at your LSS! :)

Speaking of Hambly, I got a peek at the new stuff coming out for CHA Winter. You guys are going to *heart. heart*love.love* it.

Oh yeah.

I'm getting very excited about the show, it's only 2 weeks away! Tons of stuff to do.........Gotta get my hair did! I don't want to be all "rooted out". BTW, "rooted out" is an invented word by my husband. When you have to get your hair dyed and have dark roots showing..........your Rooted out. He also has a term for hair in a clip or a bun. He says that's "Late Hair"...........meaning she got up late and couldn't do her hair and threw it up. Hmmmmmmmmm, wonder how he came up with that? Might be the fact that I do that all the time. I still keep him around cuz he's cute, not for these dorky little David'isms. **insert huge rolling eyes icon here**

ok.off my tangent.moving on........

so yeah, CHA. I can't wait! Can't wait to see my girls, meet new friends, show some love for Hambly and help out my girl, Monique for her two Scrap ETC stores in Alabama. She's got some awesome little surprises that are going to happen during the show for the March 2007 Scrap ETC Event........so keep an eye on her Blog for updates!!!!!! You don't want to miss out on them! Believe that!

If your going to be there, holla at your girl! I'd love to meet ya!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
