HEY HEY Hello!

Did any one ever see a movie mid 90's movie called "Party Girl" with Parker Posey? Well, if ya didn't ya won't get my title of this post. It's alright. Your forgiven. :)

So yeah. We totally froze our patooties off at the Christmas Parade last Thursday..........took many pictures but this is the only decent one. The other ones basically look like fireworks instead of lighted Xmas floats. I'm not a good at night-lots of light-kind of picture taker. Need to work on that. :)

Got the urge to scrap at about 11 pm last night. Pulled out my stuff and made 2 layouts and a card. Really loving the new Zsiage papers mixed with the Hambly rubons and overlays. Rather than saving scraps, I've been making cards with the excess papers and making a mini version of the layout into a card. Working great so far! I'm going to send this one in to the Cards Wedding call.
Finally creeped in to bed at about 1 am.............then fell asleep an hour later. Got up bright and early for work and boy, am I hating life right about now.
Oh.....heroes is on tonight! Last eppi until next year! Sounds like a long time but just a few weeks. So they all meet up in NYC. It's gonna be good!
Today is my Sister in law's due date. Still no baby girl. She's been walking like crazy to get this baby to finally make her appearance. Hopefully soon our family will be blessed with a new little life. Looking forward to meeting little Miss Chloe Rebecca. ...............can't wait to hold her!
alright folks.
im outie.
Peace, CP :)

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Hello!

Hi Friends! Can I start by saying that it's been a while since my last blog post? After a long vacation away, this little blog is going to have a comeback. Yay! A new look? Yes. A new topic. Yes and no. Still crafty? Yes. Long gone are my days eating and breathing everything scrapbook related and talking about silly sparkly vampires but my love of creating is still there. That never and will never ever go away. I still love the idea of scrapbooking and creating art. Putting ideas and memories on paper with pictures. Creating keepsakes and using paint, embellishments and stickers to make masterpieces. It will always be a part of me that love. I met alot of really great people throughout those scrapbooking years and still communicate with them daily. But Honestly, truly, I just don't put the time in to it that is required to do it and to do it well. My poor 4 year old might never have the scrapbook his big brother did or a published scrapbook page about him in a mag...
