HOLLA! LSS # 3!!!!!!!

Singing in my best George Jefferson voice "I'm MOVIN' oooooooon uuup!".........WHOOT! I made it to the 3rd Round of Last Scrapper Standing! So totally excited about it! It's all about Cirlces. Circle everything......sounds cool.

I took the day off yesterday from work and went to the Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton, CA. My good friend Stacey and we both had cash to burn on new SB supplies! Holla! I had to make a pit stop at Hambly Screen Prints in Santa Clara first, Stace was super excited to check out the Hambly Studio. Met up with the ultra cool Allison, who heads up the design dept. for Hambly and she hooooooooooooooooked me up! I'm so excited to work with a ton of new overlays and old favorites! Stace even got hooked up with a few peices of hambly. We were on Hambly Cloud 9 forshizzle!

I'm so going to rock that Hambly paper soon...........can't wait!! Tons of ideas in my head....oh yeah!

Stacey was tripping out on me on the way to Pleasanton, due to the fact that I kept screeching with joy and fondling my new papers. HA!

Cruised over to the Expo and we should have totally have made a gameplan of what exactly we wanted and where to go first. As soon as I walked in I saw BOHEMIA.....and like a friggen crazy woman, I loaded up. Dang, 40 bucks went fast there. Then I turned around and saw SCENIC ROUTE.........I had to have some. So there went another 30 bucks. Mind you I only took 100 dollars to spend. So that left me with $30 dollars left and the whole rest of the Expo to do.

I had to dip into my reserve...........the $100 bucks I had in my purse for the Sitter! Oh yes, i did. Gosh, I spent a motherload of cash.

Hit Lil Davis, SEI, Rusty Pickle and tons of stores like My Daughter's Wish..........and who was teaching, but my favorite Lisa in the world...........Lisa Garay! She was teaching a cute make and take with 7gypsies, I wanted in on that shizz but they were booked up. I chatted with Lisa just a bit and continued to get my shop on with Stacey.

A bit later I heard "CHRISTINA" all loud from behind........ low and behold, it was Nicole Peira and Suzy West from Two Peas over at the Scenic Route booth. Those girls are crazy, luv them! Lisa took a break from teaching and we all took a picture :)
Blogger won't let me post it though :(

Peace Out!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos...
