Bling Bling Baby!

I loooove bllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing! But when you say it, you must channel the voice of "Gold Member" from the Austin Power's movies. It just sounds better that way.......or you can say Bling and a Pancake.........nevermind. HA HA! I guess I might be the only person that gets this movie reference and I'm O.K. with that.

Here is a bling'ed out layout I did using the some fab ABC paper from Zsiage and their Chipboard "K" all sparkley! I painted it pink then sprinkled pink craft glitter. Very fun!

My niece Kori turned 16 in October. I know many may think she looks 22.....that may be do to the fact that I did her make up. She asked for smokey eyes a la what's her face. Ya know, the girl with the big ol' chicklet fake teeth and is who is way too skinny. OH YEAH now I remember, Hillary Duff.

My sister rented her a white stretch Hummer and piled in about 18 of her friends and they drove around Salinas and to the wharf in Monterey. The theme was BLING and everyone was to sport some major sparkles. I took a great picture of her and her friends...glitterama! Back to the HUMMER..... that thing was seriously hooked up! We are talking monster sound system, madd light show, leather interior and a mini bar!! Of course it was stocked with water and soda. I passed them mini bottles of vodka before they left...shhhhh! (I'm sooooo kidding.)

I thought my sister Sonia was heckka crazy for spending a wad of duckets on that but alas, it's her money so whatever.

Flashback to my sweet sixteen, dinner at The Olive Garden. Yippeee.

Christmas Shopping

As we all know, Christmas is right around the corner so I decided to attack my huge list early this year. So I got to the mall on Saturday at about 8:30 a.m., armed with my additional 10% coupon from Mervyn's and my J.C. Penny Turkey bucks. I was at the mall for 7 hours. That is truly sick. I walked out with 10 people of my list! That is a good thing!

I need to get my rear and gear and start wrapping. I intend to put my Christmas tree up on Sunday....just haven't told David that he has to move his 50 gallon fish tank to make room for the tree. That will be fun.

It's been fun, but I gotta run! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

XOXO

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos...
