Reading Vampire Books Again, Mom?

Jaden: Why are you reading that again?
Me: Jaden honey, this is a different book.
Jaden: Nuh, uh. It's the same book, Mom.
Me: It's black. - No baby, it's a different one.
Jaden: Why do you like scary vamires?
Me: These vampires arn't scary they are good vampires.
Jaden: Mom, vampires are not good. They drink blood!
Me: these are good.
Jaden: No Way, I saw your vampire movie, they were bad.
Me: Well....some are bad.
Jaden: Like Transformers? Autobots and Decepticons?
Me: Exactly son, some good, some bad.
Jaden: I still don't like Vampires, Mom.

So yeah, I finished the second book in the Twilight Series, New Moon.
Loved it. Ran out to Walmart for book numero tres, Eclipse. Yep, I am hooked. My own son thinks I'm coo-coo for coco puffs crazy.

Moving on.
hehhehe.

Easter was great! Lunch with the in-laws, then dinner with my fam later on. The kids got a combination of 8 baskets. Which equals to too much candy, it feels like an eggy pastel halloween. Peeps and chocolate bunnies galore.

Doing some Guest Work over at The Design Experiment this month! Super excited that the fabu Sasha and team asked me to play along with their prompt! Thank you ladies, that is the most I've journaled in a long time! :) Got to use my awesome little chipboard goodies I got from Toni over at Magestical Memories I threw some paint over the cute funky leaf shape, love the way it turned out.

Peace out for now!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Hello!

Hi Friends! Can I start by saying that it's been a while since my last blog post? After a long vacation away, this little blog is going to have a comeback. Yay! A new look? Yes. A new topic. Yes and no. Still crafty? Yes. Long gone are my days eating and breathing everything scrapbook related and talking about silly sparkly vampires but my love of creating is still there. That never and will never ever go away. I still love the idea of scrapbooking and creating art. Putting ideas and memories on paper with pictures. Creating keepsakes and using paint, embellishments and stickers to make masterpieces. It will always be a part of me that love. I met alot of really great people throughout those scrapbooking years and still communicate with them daily. But Honestly, truly, I just don't put the time in to it that is required to do it and to do it well. My poor 4 year old might never have the scrapbook his big brother did or a published scrapbook page about him in a mag...
