Unwritten

I was at Target yesterday, looking through all the cool scrapbook stuff...lots of cool new Marcella by Kay stuff...........but I was good and didn't buy anything! I can't belive it! Saw an old friend in the scrapbooking isle and we talked about scrapping, old times........it was cool.

While checking out the CD section, I came a cross a cd entitled Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. She has this really fun song called "These words" right now that has a really cool hook/sound.

So I got in my car and put the cd, after I tangled and fought with the darn plastic packaging........I finally got it open and instantly loved this song called Unwritten........check out these lyrics.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined. I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned. Staring at the blank page before you. Open up the dirty window......Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find.......Reaching for something in the distance......So close you can almost taste it. Release your inhibitions........Feel the rain on your skin.......No one else can feel it for you. Only you can let it in........No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips. Drench yourself in words unspoken.....Live your life with arms wide open. Today is where your book begins. The rest is still unwritten.

I'm totally doing a layout on myself with these lyrics.

Just wanted to share.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

It's May already? Where has the time gone? We are almost halfway through Twenty10! I've been playing with paper and glue lately and recently came up with this layout featuring the new Spring Tags from Shabby Shic Crafts! Loving the awesome Springtime colors and cute designs Veronica and Albert have come up with this time around. This silly little picture of me and my daughter was taken from one of those token taking machines that take your picture and the computer "draws" it out on paper. You know the the ones they have at Chuck E. Cheese type of places? Of all the pictures I have, this has got to be one of my favorite ones I have of me and my baby girl when she was about one and a half. A little closer. loving the cluster above the picture. To celebrate NSD, Shabby Shic Crafts and the Design Team Members are hosting a fun Blog Hop and giveaway! Leave a comment for a chance to win a package of 30 fantastic Tags from Shabby Shic! Where's that baby, huh?

Lot's of emails waiting for me in my inbox that had not been checked in almost one month in a half, (Gasp!!!!) that had been asking if I had given birth yet or if I was going on a 2 year long pregnancy. Even though it seemed that way, either that or I was having a 20 lb baby (ouch..or a 12 lb'er like my local sb friend!)....anywhoo..... Aubrielle Rose Padilla came into this world a whole 2 weeks early, much to my surprise, because I was expecting her around the 14th!... she weighed a hefty 7.2 lbs (I'm kidding, since J was a 9 lber!!) and was a full 20 inches long. She's got all 10 fingers and toes, a full head of dark hair, and she's Jaden's mini me, just a smaller version of him, but with girl parts. lol Hard delivery, long delivery, it seriously dropped kicked me on my caboose. Aubrielle had a bad case of jaundace that we had to address with daily trips to the hopspital but I'm happy to report that she's much better now. I'm sorry this post dos
